Crystal Bui
Crystal Bui is an Emmy-nominated investigative reporter who’s spent over a decade in television news, covering major political races, national breaking stories, and moments that shaped public conversation. She’s worked across top television markets—from New York City to Honolulu, Hawaii—and her coverage of the Atlanta spa shootings brought critical attention to anti-Asian hate. Her memoir, “More To Tell,” became an Amazon bestseller under the Biographies of Journalists category, and is now taught at the University of Alabama.
Crystal now works at the intersection of storytelling and performance.
As a keynote speaker and founder of Spotlight Communications Group, she helps executives, entrepreneurs, and public figures elevate their presence—on stage, on camera, or under pressure. Her coaching blends real-world media experience with performance strategy, so clients don’t just prepare—they connect, captivate, and deliver with impact.
As an actress and print model, Crystal is represented by forward The Agency. Crystal co-stars as a news reporter in Tyler Perry’s latest film, “Tyler Perry’s Duplicity,” which premiered on Amazon Prime Video and quickly rose to the platform’s No. 1 spot worldwide.
