Crystal Bui has reported on some of the biggest stories in the last decade: George Floyd’s death in Minneapolis and the subsequent riots throughout the city; investigations into hate crimes in the wake of the deadly Atlanta spa shootings; the Aaron Hernandez double-murder trial; Michelle Carter’s involuntary manslaughter trial, where she was found guilty of encouraging her then-boyfriend to commit suicide and many big political races in the national spotlight, including Atlanta’s 2021 mayoral election and Georgia’s 2022 primary race. She now also works with 
The Carter Center , the non-profit founded by former president Jimmy Carter, as their Georgia coordinator for the Democracy Resilience Network .
